Za'atar Roasted Tomato Flatbread

Za'atar is a savory Middle Eastern spice that goes well with olive oil and tomatoes. I used Lavash (Middle Eastern flatbread) as the base to make this. It is Jain friendly and you can serve this with olives, hummus or any dips.

Ingredients

  • 2 lavash flatbread
  • 5 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp za'atar

Instructions

  • Sprinkle sea salt and 1 tablespoon olive oil on tomatoes. Set aside.
  • Spread remaining olive oil on each lavash bread. Add tomatoes and za'atar.
  • Bake in oven at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm.
