This recipe is very special and nostalgic as it was something my baa would make for me when I would visit India. It's made with only 3 ingredients - whole wheat sev/vermicelli, ghee (clarified butter) and sugar. My mom always makes this during the Jain holy festival of Paryushan too.

Ingredients
2cupswhole wheat sevor vermicelli
2tbspgheeclarified butter
2tbspcane sugar or brown sugar
4cupswaterfor boiling
Instructions
In a pot, boil water.
Once water boils, add in whole wheat sev.
Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat and drain water.
To a serving bowl, add in cooked sev. Then, add ghee and sugar to it. Mix well.
Serve immediately.
Notes
I bought whole wheat sev in India but you can also find it at local Indian supermarkets. Alternatively, you can use vermicelli.
