Strawberry Salad with Poppyseed Dressing

- 1 cups strawberries sliced
- 2 cups mixed greens (lettuce, spinach, arugula)
- 1/4 cup aged cheddar cheese crumbled
- 1/4 cup glazed pecans
Poppy Seed Dressing
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
First make the poppy seed dressing by whisking all the ingredients listed under Poppy Seed Dressing. Set aside.
Next, in a large mixing bowl, add in mixed greens, aged cheddar and glazed pecans.
Then slowly add in your dressing. Mix well and serve in salad bowls.
