Red Garlic Chutney

This is a spicy and flavorful chutney to enjoy with burgers, falafels, samosas, wraps, sandwiches or pav bhaji.

Ingredients

  • 15-20 dried red chillies
  • 5-6 garlic cloves peeled
  • 4 red bell peppers sliced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Soak dried red chillies in warm water for 20 minutes.
  • To a blender, add dried red chillies, red bell peppers, garlic cloves, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander seeds and salt. Mix well.
  • Store chutney in a glass mason jar with lid in the refrigerator.
