Pepper Jelly Grilled Cheese Sandwich

A comfort food recipe with a sweet and spicy combination. Only 4 ingredients to make these sandwiches. They are so yum.

Ingredients

  • sourdough bread sliced
  • butter
  • pepper jelly
  • pepper jack cheese slices

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet pan over low heat.
  • Spread butter on both sides of the bread.
  • Spread pepper jelly on top of each bread slice.
  • Top off with pepper jack cheese slices.
  • Close the sandwich and let it grill for a 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • The cheese should be melted and bread should be crispy.
  • Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

I get freshly baked sourdough bread from Whole Foods bakery. They will slice it for you. You can get pepper jelly and pepper jack cheese slices from Trader Joe's.
