Olive Tapenade Bruschetta

This makes for a delicious appetizer that can be served warm on a baguette. I loved using a variety of olives and fresh basil to make this.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives pitted
  • 1/2 cup black olives pitted
  • 1/2 cup green olives pitted
  • 10 basil leaves fresh
  • 1 tsp sea salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf french baguette

Instructions

  • In a food processor, pulse olive oil, basil leaves and olives until they are coarse.
  • Add in salt and pepper per taste.
  • Slice french baguette in half and spread olive tapenade on both sides.
  • Place baguette in oven for 7 - 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy warm.

Notes

I used Trader Joe's black, green and kalamata pitted olives.
