Masala Popcorn
A flavorful twist to traditional butter popcorn. I used ghee to give this more flavor and created my own masala blend to sprinkle on top.

- 1/4 popcorn kernels organic
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
Add a few kernels to pan with lid on to see if it is ready. If kernels pop, then add in remaining kernels. Make sure lid is on the pan.
After the kernels all pop, turn off heat.
Add in masala blend and mix well.
You can store in airtight container for a few days.
