Masala Makhana
Makhana, also known as fox nuts or lotus seeds is a healthy snack. Using ghee to roast makhana gives it so much flavor.

Ingredients

red chili powder

turmeric powder

chaat masala

asafetida
Instructions
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan on low-medium heat. Add the makhana and roast for 8-9 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a bowl.
In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp ghee and add all the spices and hing. Stir well.
Add the roasted makhana back in and toss until evenly coated. Turn off the heat.
Notes
Makhana can be found at Patel Brothers or any Indian supermarket. I used Two Brothers Organic Farms Cultured Ghee.
