Mango Lassi

It's mango season! I love getting Indian mangoes (Kesar or Alphonso) and making lassi. Traditionally, lassi is made with dahi, but you can use high protein yogurt like Greek Yogurt or Skyr to make this a high protein lassi. I love adding cardamom and pinch of saffron for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dahi alternatively use plain skyr or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup mango chopped Alphonso or Kesar
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 date pitted
  • 1/2 tsp cardamon
  • 1 pinch saffron

Instructions

  • In a blender, mix everything together until it is smoothy and creamy.
  • Best served chilled.

Notes

I prefer using Indian mangoes for this mango lassi. For best and traditional taste, use dahi. For high protein option, use Greek yogurt or plain skyr. Adjust sweetness by adding more dates if needed.
