Jain Salsa

This is a spicy and flavorful salsa without any onion or garlic. All ingredients are fresh from my garden. The sugar helps balance out the acidity of the tomatoes. Use salt as needed.

Ingredients

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1 bunch cilantro washed and cut
  • 2-3 jalapeƱos fresh
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt or as needed
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin powder

Instructions

  • Pulse tomatoes and jalapeƱos first in a food processor.
  • Then add in cilantro, lime juice, salt, sugar, black pepper and cumin powder. Give it a quick pulse.
  • Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
