Jain Bruschetta

This popular Italian appetizer is so great for a backyard picnic or gathering. This recipe is Jain friendly, vegan and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Grilled Crostini with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup spanish manzanilla olives halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Notes

I recommend using JW Macy's brand of Grilled Crostini Toasts which are made from artisan sourdough baguettes. They are sliced, grilled and seasoned with olive oil and sea salt. I also recommend using high quality of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I used heirloom tomatoes but you can use any type of tomatoes in season.
