Harissa Pasta

This is simple, delicious vegan pasta made with harissa sauce, basil and tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 box penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp harissa sauce
  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan. Add in harissa sauce, grape tomatoes and basil. Let it cook for a few minutes.
  • Add in cooked pasta, salt and pepper. Give it a mix until everything is coated and warmed through.

Notes

I used Mina harissa sauce found at Whole Foods. This does have garlic.
