Guava Curry
I love guava and this is a great Jain friendly option to have with rice or roti.

Ingredients

tsp
mustard seeds

tsp
cumin seeds

tsp

tbsp
jaggery
Instructions
Thoroughly wash and rinse guava in cold water.
Slice guavas into small pieces and set aside.
In a pan, heat oil on medium heat.
Add in mustard seeds, cumin and asafetida.
Then add in all the spices as mentioned. Stir well.
Add in guava and water. Let it cook for 5 - 8 minutes until guavas are tender.
Lower heat and add in lemon juice, salt and jaggery. Mix well.
Turn off heat.
Serve with rice or roti.

I used baby guavas found at Asian supermarkets.
