This cereal chevdo brings an umami of flavors together. It is savory, sweet and spicy. It is a great snack to have while on a road trip with some tea or coffee. This recipe is Jain friendly.

Ingredients
4cups cornflakes
2cups fruity pebbles
1tbspdalia (chana dal)
1/2cup cashewsroasted and salted
1/4cup peanuts
1/4 cup raisins
3tbspoil
10curry leaves
saltto taste
1tspred chili powder
1tspturmeric
1tsp asafetida
Instructions
Using a non-stick deep pan, heat oil.
Once oil is ready, add in asafetida, dalia, peanuts and curry leaves. Stir well.
Add in cashews, raisins, salt and spices. Stir well.
Add in your cereals. Continue stirring well.
Roast cereal chevdo on low heat.
After it is well coated and roasted, turn off heat.
Store in airtight container.
Notes
You can use any cereals you have on hand. I love the combination of Corn Flakes and Fruity Pebbles along with spices. This recipe is Jain friendly.
