Olive Tapenade Bruschetta
This makes for a delicious appetizer that can be served warm on a baguette. I loved using a variety of olives and fresh basil to make this.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
- 1/2 cup kalamata olives pitted
- 1/2 cup black olives pitted
- 1/2 cup green olives pitted
- 10 basil leaves fresh
- 1 tsp sea salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper to taste
- 1 loaf french baguette
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse olive oil, basil leaves and olives until they are coarse.
- Add in salt and pepper per taste.
- Slice french baguette in half and spread olive tapenade on both sides.
- Place baguette in oven for 7 – 10 minutes.
- Enjoy warm.
Notes
I used Trader Joe’s black, green and kalamata pitted olives.
