Jain Methi Dhebra (Flatbread)
This is my mom's recipe. She is an amazing cook. It is a jain recipe and great to eat with dahi (yogurt), achaar (mango pickle) or have with Indian masala tea.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch methi (fenugreek leaves) washed and cut
- 1 bunch spinach washed and cut
- 6 green chilies diced
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tsp salt to taste
- 1 tsp achaar masala to taste
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp dahi (yogurt)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients until you form a dough.
- Separate dough into small round balls and roll out into a circular motion until you get flatbread consistency
- Pan fry the flatbread on both sides with oil.
- Serve warm or store in airtight container.
