Instant Idli
What if you could make idli from scratch without any soaking or fermentation? Well, you can and it tastes so good.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 1 cup urad dal
- 1 cup yogurt (dahi)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp ENO fruit salt
Instructions
- Grind the rice and ural dal dry in a Vitamix or food processor.
- Add in yogurt, salt, ENO fruit salt and oil.
- Pour batter in idli molds.
- Steam in Instant Pot for 10 minutes.
- Idli should be soft and ready to eat. Serve with coconut chutney or sambhar.
Notes
No soaking or fermentation required.
