Masala Popcorn
A flavorful twist to traditional butter popcorn. I used ghee to give this more flavor and created my own masala blend to sprinkle on top.
Ingredients
- 1/4 popcorn kernels organic
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
- Add a few kernels to pan with lid on to see if it is ready. If kernels pop, then add in remaining kernels. Make sure lid is on the pan.
- After the kernels all pop, turn off heat.
- Add in masala blend and mix well.
- You can store in airtight container for a few days.
