Jain Masala Pav
Perfect for the holidays and great way to use leftover pav or buns. This is recipe is Jain friendly.
Ingredients
- 6 buns chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tomatoes chopped
- 1 green chili
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 2 tbsp Pav Bhaji masala
- 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt to taste
- shredded amul cheese optional
Instructions
- In a pan, on medium heat, melt butter. Once butter is melted, add ginger and green chili.
- Add tomatoes, bell peppers and spices as mentioned. Let the tomatoes cook down until it is a thick gravy. Add in cilantro.
- Add in the chopped buns and mix well.
- Turn off heat. Serve with shredded amul cheese.
Notes
I used Pav Bhaji Buns from Costco. You can find Pav Bhaji masala from the local Indian store.
