Sweet Corn Rava Dhokla
This is one of my favorite Gujarati Jain snack items. It goes great with cilantro chutney.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sooji semolina
- 2 cups dahi yogurt
- 1 can sweet corn kernels
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 – 2 green chilis diced
- 2 tbsp coriander chopped
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp eno fruit salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together rava and dahi together.
- Add in sweet corn. Mix well.
- Add in ginger, green chilies, coriander, salt, pepper, eno and oil. Mix well.
- In a stainless steel greased tray, pour in the batter.
- Sprinkle red chili powder.
- Steam in pressure cooker for 5 minutes.
- Remove from pressure cooker and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Using a knife, cut into diagonal pieces.
- Enjoy with cilantro chutney.
