Jain Salsa Verde
This green salsa is Jain friendly and great to have with Mexican dishes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound tomatillos
- 1-2 serrano peppers
- 1/2 cup coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Remove tomatillos from husk.
- Boil in water on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Drain water and set tomatillos aside.
- In a food processor, blend all ingredients.
- Store salsa verde in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
You can also roast tomatillos in the oven to get a more smoky flavor vs. boiling.
