Vegan Chikoo (Sapota) Shake
One of my favorite childhood fruits is chikoo. It is naturally sweet and full of vitamins. This recipe is vegan.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chikoo
- 1 cup Oat Milk
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 2-3 edible rose petals
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a Vitamix or similiar type of blender.
- Garnish with edible rose petals. Enjoy!
Notes
You can use fresh chikoo if you have access to it. I used the Vadilal Treats Frozen Chikoo (available at Indian grocery stores). You can also use regular milk too. However, I liked using my oat milk for a dairy free option. Also, you do not need to add any additional sugar as chikoo is naturally sweet. I used edible rose petals from World Market.
