Spicy Queso & Shells
This a vegetarian and Jain friendly recipe. It is much needed comfort food packed with lots of flavor. Simple ingredients makes it easier to make.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 16 oz cheddar cheese
- 1 box medium shells pasta
- 1 tbsp Trader Joe's Bomba sauce
- 3 serrano peppers diced
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells according to package. Drain and set aside.
- Melt cream cheese and cheddar cheese together on medium heat on a heavy pan.
- Add in cooked pasta to the melted cheese. Mix together on low heat.
- Add in serrano pepper. Stir well.
- Add in Bomba sauce and black pepper.
- Mix well and serve.
Notes
I used Tillamook cheddar cheese, Philadelphia original cream cheese, Anna medium sized shells, and Trader Joe’s Bomba sauce. All these items are jain friendly.
