“Silver” Dollar Pancakes

A fun way to have "silver" dollar pancakes. Get the pun?

Ingredients

  • 1 box pancake mix
  • 1 sheet edible silver
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Make pancake batter according to package instructions.
  • Heat a pan or griddle on medium-low heat and coat with a small layer of butter.
  • Using a tablespoon, pour batter and let it cook until light golden brown.
  • Using wooden stick, flip over pancake and let the other side cook.
  • Carefully remove each pancake and stack them up.
  • Put edible silver on top of the stacked pancake.
  • Enjoy with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh fruits.

Notes

I used Birch Benders original pancake mix. You can buy vegetarian edible silver on Amazon or any Indian grocery store. The silver dollar pancake pan is linked on my LikeToKnowIt.
