Costco Money Saving Shopping Tips

If you have been following me on Instagram, you know I love Costco. I have been a member for many years. My home is filled with #costcofinds from kitchen/home items, clothing to beauty items. Being a Costco fan, I wanted to share some tips on how to shop smart at Costco.

Here are some of my money saving shopping tips for Costco:

1. Standard Costco Prices will end in .99 and retailer’s price will end in .98.
2. When the price ends in .97, that means it has been discounted for clearance.
3. When the price ends in .00 or .88, that means it is a manager’s special pricing. The item may have been returned or there may be a product defect. Either way, they are trying to get rid of the product.
4. When there is an * on the top right corner of the price, that means it is low inventory. Costco will be discontinuing the item. If you want it, then stock up on it.
5. Any low inventory and slow selling item or seasonal item, the price will probably go down. You have to keep a lookout for that.
6. Any items that you bought that go on sale, you have 30 days to get a price adjustment. I always recommend keeping your Costco receipts but can be looked up on your card.
7. Costco has a generous return policy for most items. If you don’t like something, you can most likely return it at any time. Electronics and appliances have a 90-day return policy.
