If you have been following me on Instagram, you know I love Costco. I have been a member for many years. My home is filled with #costcofinds from kitchen/home items, clothing to beauty items. Being a Costco fan, I wanted to share some tips on how to shop smart at Costco.
Here are some of my money saving shopping tips for Costco:
- Standard Costco Prices will end in .99 and retailer’s price will end in .98.
- When the price ends in .97, that means it has been discounted for clearance.
- When the price ends in .00 or .88, that means it is a manager’s special pricing. The item may have been returned or there may be a product defect. Either way, they are trying to get rid of the product.
- When there is an * on the top right corner of the price, that means it is low inventory. Costco will be discontinuing the item. If you want it, then stock up on it.
- Any low inventory and slow selling item or seasonal item, the price will probably go down. You have to keep a lookout for that.
- Any items that you bought that go on sale, you have 30 days to get a price adjustment. I always recommend keeping your Costco receipts but can be looked up on your card.
- Costco has a generous return policy for most items. If you don’t like something, you can most likely return it at any time. Electronics and appliances have a 90-day return policy.
Happy Shopping!
